After broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire released a moving video diary about her struggles with losing her hair, we spoke to three patients about their own experiences

TV presenter Victoria Derbyshire last week revealed in a moving video diary how she’s struggled with her hair loss more than the mastectomy she underwent in October for her breast cancer .

Award-winning BBC journalist Victoria, 47, shed half her locks despite using a ‘cold cap’ which helps prevent hair loss from chemotherapy. She now wears a wig.
