The bamboo fabric has natural antibacterial qualities, making it great for women with cancer or who are undergoing chemotherapy and may be extra sensitive to germs and susceptible to infections. The bamboo plant is highly water absorbent. It is able to take in up to three times its weight in water! The textile retains this ability to some extent, pulling the moisture away from the skin so that it can evaporate.
Bamboo scarves and turbans also have excellent insulating properties. This means that the fabric will help the wearer stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Its soft fabric feels just great against the sensitive skin, which is ideal for women with sensitive scalps from cancer, chemotherapy, alopecia, or other medical hair loss conditions.
Bamboo feels “forgettable” to wear – it’s so soft and light. It is designed to soothe & embrace your scalp.
How to tie this scarf:
Run hands over the hat from top of head to the base of the hat, catching both ties and securing the hat tightly with a knot. Bring left tie around side of the head and across the front and to the back of the head. Lay the tie flat as you move around the head. Repeat with right tie. Secure at back of the head with a knot or bow. Alternatively, you can secure the ties at the side of the head.
